And this is what the Aethos lives for. Sure, it’s given nothing up to performance, and happens to be the lightest frame out there, but with no compromise to style. Aethos: Billions of calculations in the pursuit of one thing—the perfect ride.
Top off the world’s lightest frame with Shimano’s legendary Dura-Ace Di2 groupset and Roval’s featherweight Alpinist wheels and you’re left with a perfectly balanced top-tier ride that gives up nothing in the name of performance.
Caractéristiques :
- Le châssis de l’Aethos a été pensé pour combiner style et performance tout en étant ultraléger. Des accélérations en montée, des descentes techniques aux longues journées en selle, il sait tout faire. Comment ? Nous avons réinventé les formes de tube classiques en les optimisant pour la rigidité et le comportement en conservant leur avantage en termes de poids. Ajoutez à cela un nouveau procédé de fabrication de carbone et toutes nos années d’expérience, vous obtenez un châssis de 585 gr (SW taille 56 cm). L’Aethos n’est pas juste un nouveau vélo, c’est le premier d’une nouvelle catégorie.
- Un châssis ultraléger est inutile s’il n’a pas de comportement routier à la hauteur de ses prétentions. C’est pourquoi l’Aethos a été conçu pour offrir l’équilibre de rigidité parfait entre l’avant et l’arrière en combinaison avec un comportement parfait. L’objectif est atteint, un poids révolutionnaire avec un comportement routier à la hauteur, c’est notre nouveau standard.
- L’ensemble des composants, de la patte de dérailleur arrière jusqu’à l’expandeur, tout a été conçu avec comme objectif : l’esthétique, la légèreté et la durabilité. Nous avons ajouté à ceci nos tout nouveaux composants Roval Alpinist. Tout cela dans la quête de l’expérience de roulage optimale.
